Baku Olympic Stadium Project


Located on the shore of Lake Boyuk Shor in Baku, the Baku Olympic Stadium is a multi-purpose facility sited on a 496,000 m² plot with a seating capacity of 68,000. The project required robust surface-water management for large plazas, circulation areas and service roads, along with safe access solutions—while preserving the architectural quality of this landmark through a coherent design language.

Mert Döküm supported the project with EN 124 / EN 1433 compliant systems that combine high hydraulic capacity with heavy-duty load performance and aesthetic integration. Key products: M121 Manhole Cover, M160 Stormwater Grating, M138 Point Drain Grating and Mk800P Access Cover.

M121 Manhole Cover

M121 provides secure access to underground networks in pedestrian zones, entrance plazas and technical corridors. Durable with a compact, architect-friendly form.

M160 Stormwater Grating

M138 Point Drain Grating

M138 is used for point drainage in stair voids, perimeter lines and car parks in urban infrastructure applications. High inlet efficiency with an anti-slip surface ensures safety.
